How to kitchen cabinet installation - steps:

Find the highest point of flooring.
Mark a level line on the walls approximately ½” above the highest floor point.
Calculate the height of the wall cabinets.
Mark the cabinet layout on the wall, wall studs, and plumb lines; start by checking the starting corner for a square and plumb, and then mark the layout on the wall for both the base and wall cabinets. Fillers may be needed to align the wall and base cabinets evenly to the adjoining appliances.
Remove cabinet doors for easy installation.
Start installing cabinets, beginning with the corner unit. Anchor it to the wall studs with screws. To make it completely level, place shims behind the unit.
Hang the proceeding cabinets; the next should be perfectly aligned to the corner unit, and so on. When aligned, clamp the front together and drill the front stiles together, then fasten it to the wall. To keep adjoining cabinets straight, place a shim between each unit and the studs.
Install the corner base cabinets at the ½” line, and repeat the above procedure for each unit, remembering to use shims to straighten them.
When all the cabinets have been installed, measure where the counter top will sit.
Install doors, moldings, and trims according to the above measured line.


	To make wooden drawers slide easily into wooden frames, simply attach a vinyl wall corner molding to the drawer’s edges!
